Hofstra Law
For more than 40 years, Hofstra Law has provided its graduates an education rich in the theory and skills needed to become outstanding lawyers, business executives and community leaders. Hofstra Law seeks to attract motivated students from around the globe and outstanding faculty scholars who uphold its philosophy, described by two simple phrases: “Be Excellent in the Classroom” and “Make a Difference.”

Campus Life
Hofstra Law is on the 240-acre Hofstra University campus in Hempstead, New York. The University, which is an officially recognized arboretum, is in the heart of Long Island’s thriving business community. Hofstra Law students have access to state-of-the-art gym facilities and a pool, libraries, sporting events, concerts, theatrical performances, festivals and lectures on campus.

New York City
Hofstra Law is a mere 25 miles (40 kilometers) east of New York City, which allows students to enjoy the benefits of its internationally recognized legal, business and cultural centers. Students have easy access to New York City through the Long Island Rail Road, which stops less than two miles from campus. The University operates a free shuttle to the local train stations.

Long Island
Long Island is home to miles of pristine beachfronts, more than 30 award-winning wineries and dozens of unique cultural and entertainment attractions. Off-campus destinations include nearby Roosevelt Field Mall and Jones Beach State Park.
